When you encounter the natural and cosmic world directly, it changes your relationship with life. We see life non-separate from nature and the cosmos, we see everything as an intimate expression of the very same unfolding universe. From this viewpoint, all our experiences are designed for wonder and discovery.
Earth – From where we come … we are made of the same elements as sandstone, mountains, forests, soil, water
Body – How we encounter it through walking, breathing, seeing, hearing, stillness
Mind – When our attention changes, so do our thoughts, perception, spaciousness, imagination, curiosity
Heart – That which is meaningful sparks wonder, belonging, humility, gratitude, tenderness
Cosmos – This is the larger field we see all around us as expressions of the same stuff
Very often, Shunyata is understood to be emptiness, but emptiness is misleading. Much more than this, it is not a void into which we escape but the open origin of everything ... and shares that everything is non-separate from us.
This origin is easier to grasp when we stop filling every moment with ourselves. A dark sky. A quiet forest. A long walk. A few minutes beside a fire. Shunyata is something you encounter rather than something to learn.
There is no one path to fulfil your dreams. Whether you want to see the southern night sky, or if you need to get out into the mountains, or maybe you have always wondered what those stars actually are. Maybe you have become disconnected from yourself, or you want to experience something extraordinary, or even you're asking bigger questions about your life
